Greater Fort Wayne Inc. Appoints Director of Business Development; Focusing on Downtown

Greater Fort Wayne Inc., the organization that serves as the primary-point-of-contact for economic growth in greater Fort Wayne, has appointed Kirk Moriarty as Director of Business Development with a focus on downtown. Moriarty comes to this position with nearly 25 years of retail experience.
 
In this role, Moriarty will be working on downtown development and business expansion and attraction efforts for Greater Fort Wayne Inc. “Kirk brings a strong set of community and economic development skills, along with extensive retail experience to this role,” stated GFW’s CEO, Mark Becker. “We are happy to have someone as talented as Kirk on board and are looking forward to continued progress in downtown Fort Wayne.”
 
Moriarty was previously General Manager at Bobick’s Golf in Fort Wayne and Executive Director of the Fort Wayne Urban Enterprise Association. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University. He also serves on the Fort Wayne Urban Enterprise Associations Board of Directors as well as numerous other community boards.

I am looking forward to working with our partners in the community to make greater Fort Wayne a top metro area in the United States.”
