The Greater Fort Wayne Inc. Fellows program prepares current students for life after college through personal and professional development experiences that include a summer internship with one of Fort Wayne, Indiana’s top employers. But it’s more than just an internship. The Fellows program includes personal development workshops, community engagement opportunities, networking events, and social activities designed to connect you to Fort Wayne. It’s a program you’ll be proud to mention on your resume!
Oh, and did we mention that fellows who meet performance expectations have a high probability of obtaining a job offer before the end of the summer?!
An anonymous committee selects applicants for initial on-campus interviews based on the student’s application. A resume, cover letter, recommendation letter and brief biography encompass the Fellows application. Students who are a good fit for the program will be invited to Selection Day where host employers will be present to complete the final interviews. Admission into the GFW Inc. Fellows is only granted when a student receives an internship offer from a host employer.
Fellows have three basic similarities:
– demonstrated on-campus leadership experience
– a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
– a commitment to community service
