
Graphic Design and Marketing Coordinator

The person in this role is directly responsible for designing all graphic assets for the organization. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently working in a graphic design position.
Salary: $40,000-$50,000 (based on experience)
Reports to: Vice President of Marketing & Communications
This position does not manage other team members.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Graphic Design & Marketing Coordinator, based in Fort Wayne, IN. The Graphic Design & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing and managing the visual brand and identity of Greater Fort Wayne Inc. across digital and print platforms. This role focuses on producing high-quality creative assets that align with established brand standards and support marketing, communications, and organizational priorities.
The Graphic Design & Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Vice President of Marketing & Communications to implement the Marketing and Communications strategic and tactical work plan, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and visual excellence across all materials.
This position is hands-on and collaborative, supporting internal teams and external partners while serving as a key steward of the organization’s visual identity.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and edit creative assets for digital platforms, including websites, social media, email, and presentations.
- Support the visual brand standards and graphic representation for the organization.
- Update all marketing materials on an ongoing basis and design new materials as needed.
- Collaborate with print companies to effectively manage print projects, ensure quality, and meet delivery timelines.
- Assist with website edits and updates using WordPress platform. Coordinate quarterly review and edit calendar with staff.
- Design advertising placements for print and digital platforms.
- Design documents and publications such as the Legislative Agenda, Proof of Performance, Sponsorship Guide, and other documents.
- Edit presentations and templates and create new presentations as needed.
- Coordinate all promotional and graphic items that represent the GFW Inc. brand.
- Assist in events, programs, and celebrations as needed.
Provide photography and photo editing for GFW Inc. events, programs, and member celebrations.
Qualifications
- Must have a strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with extensive experience using Adobe InDesign.
- Ability to work under tight timelines while balancing multiple projects.
- Strong knowledge of web, social media, and graphic trends.
- Experience using the WordPress platform for website edits.
- Attention to detail and knowledge of implementing brand standards.
- Strong creative experience with practical knowledge of graphic design.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to edit and manage content in materials.
- Experience and skill in photography and photo editing.
- Willingness to jump in and help others.
- Ability to multitask and coordinate projects effectively.
- Ability to think creatively and understand marketing trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Canva is helpful but not necessary.
- Preference for candidates who currently reside in Allen County or an adjacent county.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related creative field preferred.

Work Schedule and Expectations
This role is primarily weekday, business-hour based, with occasional evening commitments (an average of two to three per month) required for events, programs, and member engagement activities.
GFW Inc. is located in the First Source Bank building in downtown Fort Wayne. Reliable transportation is needed for off-site meetings and events.
Office hours are 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. on Fridays.
Employees may utilize up to three remote workdays per month.
Dress code is “dress for your day,” with business casual as the in-office norm and business professional attire for events and important meetings.
