Owners of Auburn Massage Centre Expand into Allen County
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – One of the most relaxing grand-opening ceremonies in recent memory is scheduled for early February. Fort Wayne Massage Centre will offer free chair massages as part of their grand opening on Friday, Feb. 2 at 4:30 p.m. in their office at 3182 Mallard Cove Lane, just west of Covington Plaza in Fort Wayne.
The company’s owners are expanding into Allen County after a decade of success in Dekalb County. Laura Altaffer and Sarah Lapadot have operated Auburn Massage Centre for more than 10 years, and will add Lara Teague to their ownership team in Fort Wayne. Together, they have more than 40 years of experience in the health and wellness industry.
“Our staff is dedicated to our clients,” Altaffer said. “We believe that massage is a holistic, health-focused, and medically backed restorative therapy.”
Initially, the Centre will only offer massage therapy, but the staff plans to add services including:
- Skin care services such as facials, body scrubs, and waxing.
- Detox and infrared heat therapy that will assist in weight loss, joint relief, and increased blood flow.
- Steam shower with aromatherapy.
The owners see the business as part of a higher calling.
“We know that God made all of this possible,” Lapadot said. “We felt He was directing us to this space to heal others through the gift of massage therapy.”
The grand opening is open to the public and will run from 4 – 8 p.m. on Feb. 2, with the ribbon cutting scheduled for 4:30 p.m. In addition to free chair massages, guests are invited to enjoy refreshments and enter to win door prizes.
