FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Starbucks fans in Fort Wayne now have a new spot to get their favorite coffees, lattes, and other treats. The Hilton Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Center recently opened a Starbucks location at 1020 S. Calhoun St., adjacent to the downtown hotel. The store will host a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 9 a.m.
“Great things are happening in downtown Fort Wayne, and we’re very happy to be part of it,” said Amar Shokeen, owner of the new Starbucks and the Hilton. “Our centrally located, street-level location makes this Starbucks convenient to the many people who live and work nearby.”
Starbucks is nestled just off the Hilton lobby, near Features Bar & Restaurant.
“Our Hilton and Grand Wayne Center guests will find Starbucks convenient to use,” said Mark Luttik, general manager of the Hilton. “The location makes it easy for hotel and Grand Wayne Center guests to stop in without having to go outside.”
Tuesday’s ribbon-cutting ceremony is open to the public. The community is invited to attend, meet the baristas, and enjoy samples and made-to-order drinks.
