Brandon Porter

Brandon Porter joined Greater Fort Wayne in fall 2024 and now serves on the Economic Development team as the Project Manager.  In this role, he support ACT-aligned initiatives through project management, strategic planning, research, and partner coordination that help move key priorities forward for Fort Wayne and Allen County.

Brandon brings a strong background in community engagement and administrative and operational leadership, having positioned himself as a dynamic collaborator.  Prior to GFW Inc., he served as Fine Arts Magnet Coordinator and Drama Teacher at Weisser Park Arts Magnet School, where he developed and sustained a high-impact fine arts program, which received state-level recognition.

A Fort Wayne native, Brandon is deeply involved in the community through arts and civic service.  He serves on the Foundation for Art & Music in Education (FAME) board, the SEED board, and participates in several Visit Fort Wayne committees and task forces.  He is also the Artistic Director of Genesis Outreach Presents, a local professional theatre company dedicated to elevating minority artists and producing work that celebrates underrepresented stories.  Brandon is passionate about supporting GFW Inc.’s mission by collaborating with businesses, public partners, and community leaders to deliver meaningful impact.
