Fort Wayne native comes full circle in opening of Nothing Bundt Cakes

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Jennifer (Mougin) Henricks grew up on the far north side of Fort Wayne where four homes shared some land on a two-lane highway. Fast forward a few decades, and the same land is now home to a retail shopping center, including Henricks’ very own Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery. “I think it’s remarkable!” exclaimed Henricks, who along with husband Gregg owns the new bakery.

“This ground is where I learned to walk, ride a bike, jump rope and so much more. Now, I am taking new first steps with the ownership of a wonderful bakery and sharing them in a sweet way with this community I love.” The bakery opened on Jan. 8 and will host grand opening festivities for the community next week:

Thursday, Feb. 6

  • 3 p.m. – Ribbon Cutting with Greater Fort Wayne Inc.

Friday, Feb. 7

  • Carroll High School Champions Together Benefit Day – 20% of sales will be donated to this collaborative partnership between the Indiana High School Athletic Association and Special Olympics Indiana that promotes servant leadership among student athletes while changing their lives and the lives of those with intellectual disabilities.

Saturday, February 8

  • 10 a.m. – Free Bundtlets for a Year – The first 50 guests on this day will win free Bundtlets for a year (one per month for 12 months, one card per household)
  • 12-2 p.m. – Family Fun Event – Take the kids to enjoy a balloon art and a’bundt’ant samples of their delicious cakes!
