GFW Inc. delivering COVID-19 information, expertise to local businesses

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – As the response to COVID-19 causes changes for local businesses, Greater Fort Wayne (GFW) Inc. is providing a one-stop information hub specifically for Allen County business leaders. The webpage, covid19.gfwinc.com, includes action items to help businesses navigate the ever-changing landscape, an FAQ section with answers to pertinent questions, and opportunities to support local companies amid social distancing.

Currently, the top priority is sharing information about the federal Small Business Administration (SBA)’s Economic Injury Disaster Loans, which were made available to Indiana businesses this morning. Business owners can find a link to apply for these loans at covid19.gfwinc.com.

As always, business leaders can call the GFW Inc. office at 260-420-6945 with questions–COVID-19 related or otherwise. GFW Inc. staff members have been encouraged to work remotely, and are assisting local companies as they work through the challenges of social distancing and its effect on business operations.

“This is the time for us to pull together as a community, even if we’re not face-to-face,” said John Urbahns, president and CEO of GFW Inc. “We’re here to serve as a resource for local businesses. We will get through this, together.”
