FORT WAYNE, Ind. — CME Corporation today announced plans to break ground on a new corporate headquarters in northwest Fort Wayne, building on more than 50 years of company success. A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, July 26, at 10 a.m. at 2488 Persistence Dr.
Founded in Fort Wayne in 1972, CME Corporation is a family-owned commercial contractor serving northern Indiana, southern Michigan, and northwest Ohio. The company’s portfolio includes design-build construction projects in settings including commercial, food processing, industrial, retail, and housing, among others.
Steady growth prompted company leaders to build the new 22,000-square-foot headquarters, which will be located just off Goshen Road near I-69. Work is estimated to be completed by spring 2024. CME Corporation’s new building will replace its current headquarters on Vicksburg Pike in southwest Fort Wayne.
“I am extremely honored to carry on the legacy of this company and continue to grow on the foundation laid by my family years ago,” said Ryan Hellinger, president of CME Corporation. “I look forward to building an even brighter future alongside our amazing staff.”
Members of the media and invited guests are welcome to attend the groundbreaking ceremony on July 26. Light refreshments will be served as part of the festivities.
