On October 3 & 4, Leadership Fort Wayne hosted Reverse City, a well-attended community tour and celebration. Throughout this excursion, attendees were not only given the opportunity to experience Fort Waynes accomplishments, but they were also challenged to create ideas and visions to achieve even greater things for the future. From the kick-off breakfast at the Courtyard Marriott to the wrap-up party at Wunderkammer Company, the guests partook in informative community development discussions, experienced local arts and sciences, enjoyed some of the areas culinary treats, and explored throughout some of the Citys most vibrant establishments.

The community visit took its attendees through Science Central, Parkview Field, the Wells Street Bridge, and other great landmarks. Topics varied from strategies to attract businesses through making Fort Wayne a more appealing visitation spot to making downtown a more walkable community to merging the arts districts with the dining districts and culinary incubator. Guests were not only treated to meals from local eateries but also enjoyed a performance by dAnce Kontemporary, a viewing of selected Lynchpin Creative videos, and music by Metavari and Fernando Tarango.

Thanks to the efforts of Leadership Fort Wayne, volunteers, and guest speakers, Reverse City attendees were able to get a full experience of our community, celebrate our successes, and learn how they can individually lead the way towards the future bigger picture.
