Kianna Kendrick

Kianna Kendrick joined Greater Fort Wayne Inc. in June 2026 as Impact Coordinator. In her role, she supports members and local businesses by overseeing GFW Inc.’s LEADS Groups and Executive Roundtables, coordinating Member Celebration Services, including ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings, and milestone celebrations, and supporting the planning and execution of the organization’s annual signature events.

Kianna brings 10 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, event management, and community engagement. Before joining GFW Inc., she spent more than four years at Sweetwater. She began as a concierge, was promoted to campus events coordinator, and later advanced into an employee events leadership role. In that position, she managed experiences ranging from small gatherings to large-scale events serving as many as 1,800 attendees.

Prior to Sweetwater, Kianna worked at the Jorgensen Family YMCA for two years, contributing to youth programming through summer camps, before- and after-school care, and preschool programs. She is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that bring people together, both professionally and personally.

Kianna attended Florida International University before transferring to Purdue Fort Wayne after relocating to the area. Born in Fort Wayne and raised in Miami, she returned to Fort Wayne with her family and has lived in the community for the past nine years.
Outside of work, Kianna enjoys traveling, practicing Pilates (especially at Promenade Park and along the riverfront), walking local trails, hiking, cooking, and painting. She also volunteers with local animal shelters whenever possible.

Kianna previously operated a health and beauty YouTube channel as a solo entrepreneur, creating digital content and securing public relations partnerships and brand collaborations. In 2020, she was selected as one of 10 finalists in Yahoo’s Content Creator Contest for her “Butterfly Effect” photo series.
