Nine selected for new Leadership 2.0 program

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Greater Fort Wayne Inc. has selected nine individuals to participate in the first-ever cohort of the Leadership 2.0 program. Born from the Leadership Fort Wayne program, Leadership 2.0 helps participants take their leadership skills to the next level.

The Leadership 2.0 curriculum features tools and techniques that help participants more confidently lead, regardless of their position in an organization. Topics covered include:

  • Strengths-based, high-performance leadership.
  • Leading high-performing teams.
  • Leading vs. managing.
  • Self-aware leadership principles.
  • Core competencies such as how to read a financial statement, how to build a strategic plan, leading through conflict, building and conducting performance evaluations, and more.

“Our Leadership Fort Wayne alums told us they wanted to take their skills to that next level, and the result is the Leadership 2.0 program,” said Barry Schrock, GFW Inc.’s director of leadership programs. “This is a deeply talented cohort and a brand-new curriculum, and I can’t wait to see these nine individuals build on their talents, grow as leaders, and make a positive impact.”
